Fashion Powerhouse Misha Nonoo Appoints Deep Focus Creative Agency of Record

NEW YORK – April 19, 2016 – Women’s ready-to-wear line Misha Nonoo today announced the appointment of Engine’s Deep Focus as creative agency of record (AOR). The global digitally-led creative agency will be responsible for managing creative, strategy and digital, working alongside Misha Nonoo’s other agency partners. Led by Deep Focus President Kara O’Neill, the business will be handled out of Deep Focus’ New York office.

“Misha Nonoo is changing the way women dress for life and work, and we’re constantly inspired by the pieces she creates,” said O’Neill. “Together, our plan is to create a clothing brand that breaks all of the rules and uses technology to build the storefront of the future.”

The appointment of Deep Focus as creative AOR supports Misha Nonoo’s goal to create a simpler, innovative system for how women buy and dress. The agency’s first work for the brand is anticipated to launch in September during New York Fashion Week where the brand will unveil how it’s helping women create their own unique, bold stories.

About Misha Nonoo
Born in Bahrain and raised in London by an Iraqi father and English mother, Misha Nonoo’s multicultural upbringing exposed her to a diverse collection of references. In Fall 2011, Misha debuted her womenswear collection during New York Fashion Week. Her work showcased a unique outlook for the modern multifaceted woman - progressive yet classic silhouettes, that address work and play in a new, authentic way. In 2012, Misha was awarded the Fashion Group International’s Rising Star award for Women’s Ready to Wear.
