Deep Focus Named Best Social Media Marketing Agency of 2010 by Digiday September 15th, 2010 | Ken Kraemer

We had a great time at Tuesday night’s Sammy Awards Gala hosted by Digiday in The W Hotel Union Square in New York. We love when the fun stuff we make for our clients gets recognized by our peers, and that’s what happened at The Sammys – the awards for excellence in social media. AMC’s Mad Men Yourself, the viral phenomenon that took over the faces of millions on Facebook and Twitter last year, took home the Sammy for Best Social Creative, and was a finalist for Best Engagement Campaign. Bing’s Home Turf Finder – which helped people find the perfect place to root for their favorite team with like-minded hooligans during the world cup – received the Sammy for Best Social Content/Entertainment. It was also a finalist for Best Social Branded App and Best Social Media Platform/Media. Bing’s Farmville Campaign – named one of the top social media campaigns of all time by Forbes last month – was also a finalist for Best Social Media Platform/Media.
And last but not least, Deep Focus was named Best Social Media Marketing Agency of 2010 – an honor that both humbles and excites us!
We want to thank and congratulate all of our clients at Microsoft and AMC, all of our partners (Foursquare, 8ninths, Thrillist, Zynga, SocialVibe) and all of our incredibly talented people here at Deep Focus who all made this work amazing. And congratulations and thanks to all of our co-finalists who help us keep the bar so high in the Social Media space.
